How To Ask For More Photos When Dating Online

Even though I've been out of the dating game for a full year--I still know the crazy-ass crap that goes on--because you guys keep writing me and asking me for advice. And I thank you for it--I also feel sorry for you (in a good way), but being in a relationship is even harder work that playing the dating game--trust me.

I got an email from a guy saying he seems to meet people online that never look like their online profiles when they meet in-person. I say, ask for more photos. Now, there's a polite way and a not-so-polite way. This post will deal with the not-so-polite way--because if a person only posts one pic in their profile--something's up and if a person has no pics "due to privacy" RUN AWAY, NOW!

How To Ask For More Photos When Dating Online

‍1. Wow, I love how the bad lighting brings out the red in your eyes, do you have another photo where it's more pronounced--it's a fetish, what can I say?

2. Thanks for that close-up on your penis bulge, do you have a different pic...that hasn't been photoshopped?

3. In cropping out the other person you're standing next to, you cut half of your face off--that might've been your good side, do you have another photo to share--just to disprove my theory?

4. So the only photo you have of yourself is this one where you're looking hot and sexy? Can you send one or more of equal sexiness value to test consistency?

5. I see that all your photos are from the neck up, I have a thing for fat shoulders. I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

One thing you might want to consider though, some people just take bad photos--especially if they're doing the "in the bathroom" pic or holding up the camera with one arm and doing self-shots. My own boyfriend, when spotting him on GRINDR had a not-so-sexy face pic on his profile but I clicked on it because he was within a 5-mile radius--as it turned out--he took horrible self-portraits because when I met him in-person, I was shocked at how hot he actually was.
