There's some good stuff happening off-Broadway and that's thanks to Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage which stars Eve Plum -- yeah, Jan Brady herself is up on stage talking about sex! Okay, maybe not Sex and the City type of sex, but it's "implied". The show is a two-person show with Miss Abagail and her assistant, Paco, played by the super hot Manuel Herrera.
Miss Abigail brings sexyback by exposing us to dating, mating, and marriage rules/tips given as far back as the 1800s. Yeah, this was taking it back old-school. You understand the difference of what dating was back then and you draw your own conclusions whether life sucks now. But there's a modern twist to the tale as Miss Abigail is on stage giving us life lessons on dating--which is a full audience participation production as you answer questions and even a few opportunities to go up on stage with Miss Abigail--love blooms, blossoms, and explodes. (The audience also gets dating tip cards from Miss Abigail passed out by the hot Latin hunk Paco-- like the Miss Abigail DLDOW approach to staying in a relationship. Oh yeah, it's campy alright!)
I saw the show on Christmas Day with my boyfriend and the wonderful people at Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage are giving my readers 2 free tickets. I also bought two of Miss Abagail's book which is classic advice for contemporary dilemmas and I plan on giving the extra book to the winner--all you have to do is comment. Contest ends Jan 12th. You have one week! (Winner gets 2 free tickets to the show and an autographed copy of Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage -- autographed by Miss Abigail & Eve Plum!)
What dating advice or relationship tip do you think withstands the test of time--it worked back in the 1800s as well as it does now in 2011?1. Leave your comment (to the question above) below on the blog & a winner for the tickets will be announced Jan 13th .2.
