Drama Queenz on the Loose!

dramaqueenz

A few weeks ago, I discovered an awesome internet series on YouTube called Drama Queenz about three friends and roommates dealing with life, love, and auditioning in New York City. The writing is fresh and funny and in my opinion, totally beats out Noah's Arc; I bet they hate getting compared to them--sorry gang!I quickly made my boyfriend watch and he was immediately hooked! Yay, the Gays are getting original programming, finally. And if you want the inside scoop on the series, here it is--and it's all according to their blog:Each ten-minute webisode focuses on Jeremiah, a dreamer with ridiculously poor audition luck, Davis, a perfectionist whose hard work produces uneven results, and Preston, a realist whose inhibitions stir-up delightful "drama" for all to enjoy. Through madcap auditions, burgeoning romances, and heartbreaking realizations, the trio from Queens takes viewers on the zany roller coaster ride that is the actor's life.Since premiering in 2008, DRAMAQUEENZ has been called "ones to watch" by GLAAD and was named one of "five web series to keep on your gaydar" by Web Enetertainment Guide. The show has also been featured at the Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival, Great Lakes Film Festival, Queer Black Cinema (NYC), D.C. Black Pride, St. Louis Black Pride, Nashville Black Gay Pride, New York City Pride, Detroit's Hotter than July, the Nubian Dreams Cruise, Soul Purpose AZ, and on many notable blogs & websites.DRAMAQUEENZ is produced by novonovusproductions, the ground-breaking, multi-media production company devoted to developing quality new works that challenge convention, thinking outside the box to evolve the definition of "new."Here is the latest episode of Drama Queenz on YouTube!httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW2G_Tkb32wI'm hoping, since the boys are in New York, I get to interview them soon. How hot would that be?
