Chocolate for Valentine's Day CONTEST

Valentine's Day 2009 is fast approaching. How do I know this? Because I feel the pressure of yet another year passing by and not having anything to hold on Valentine's Day besides my membership card to "HOT HAIRY STUDS R US?" No, because I saw heart-shaped boxes filled with chocolates and fuzzy penguins holding red hearts that read, "Be mine," two days after the Santa crap was put away. That's America for you.

Well, not to be outdone this year, the makers of AXE Body Spray put out two products that scare and disgust me at the same time--so you know I'm gonna buy it! It's the AXE Dark Temptation deodorant spray and shower gel. Have you seen the commercial (click here)? According to them "AXE Dark Temptation is the new fragrance by AXE inspired by what women love most...chocolate."

And

"AXE Dark Temptation combines the subtle aroma of chocolate with fresh gourmet scents, including hot chocolate amber and red peppercorn, to bring modern sophistication to this distinctive fragrance."

If I wanted to smell like chocolate, I'd do it the natural way--by eating my way through a bag of Hersey's Kisses while simultaneously popping Kit Kats as I make my way to the fridge to get a bag of M&Ms with Debbie Gibson singing Electric Youth in the background. What the hell? Who wants to smell like chocolate? Is it really what women want? If so, who are these women?
