Occupation: William is a web designer and Emilia works in fashion PR
You’re likely to bump into their kind: In Meatpacking District, using their break to check out the fashion trends.
Their favorite clothes store: Yigal Azrouel. We were actually standing in front of it.
Their favourite neighborhood: Nolita!
Fashion Friday Tip: Accessorize, people! Make your office outfits adorable, show that you like to play! William’s hat is a great example of how much more interesting can your outfit get. And Emilia’s red sunglasses are totally cool. Two more details I love about these folks’ outfits! Look at the length of William’s pants. Exactly! The boy understands it so well, oh so well! I think that in general we wear our pans and sleeves too long. The shorter, the funkier 😉 And Emilia’s shoes. Perfection!
Identifying sign: Either an art show or a Sunday mass, Lea looks perfectly fashionable!
You’re likely to bump into her kind: Getting coffee in an art cafe Little Skips in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Favorite neighborhood: Bushwick
Where she likes to shop for clothes: Lea prefers shopping Upstate New York when she visits her parents there. She goes to church stores and finds cheap awesome clothes that used to be worn by church ladies 30 years ago. She got her shoes in a store in Greenpoin (just around the corner from Enid’s who can remember the name, gets a coffee at Little Skips from me ;-))
Item she never leaves her house without: Either the red purse she’s wearing on the picture or a kid-size blue back pack that says National Autobahn Society. As she’s only 5 feet tall and needs everything to be a little smaller 🙂
Fashion Friday Tip: Dear fashion junkies, I personally am going for the golden shoes! Paired with color tights, they make for a great combination to celebrate spring, hopefully coming soon to our beloved NYC!
Occupation: Bartender & musician from Seattle visiting his friend in Brooklyn.
Identifying sign: Whoa Brooklyn! Check out how hip and colorful is Seattle!
You’re likely to bump into him: Strolling through vintage vinyls from a street vendor on Bedford Ave in Brooklyn.
Favorite neighborhood: Seattle 🙂
Where he likes to shop for clothes: He does only thrifting (and I couldn’t tell, I swear!). He was just on his way from the Salvation Army. He didn’t miss opportunity to brag that he got his glasses from his friend’s grandpa who just deceased (ehm, good for you, Leo… It would be waste bury such a fashionable piece…).
Fashion Friday Tip: It seems that thrifting is the new not-thrifting.
