Coaching Tips for Success: Unanswerable Question

One of the perks of being a part of The Brand Ambassador Coaching Exchange Program is they receive a weekly “check-in” from Coach Jimmy Allen who co-facilitates the program with me. In this week’s check-in he refreshes the brand ambassadors to their point of view and how it’s running the show.

Why You’re Stopped in Life

Your point of view and your unanswerable question will stop you all the time.

1) What has your POV and UAQ being costing you? What did it cost you in 2018?

Really sit with the question.

2) How are you generating evidence in your life to validate your POV or UQ? What actions have you been taking or not taking in order to validate your POV or UQ? What is the continuous dialogue? Who have you been enrolling into that story? Start to push back on those beliefs. Create a new belief. Create an I AM statement.

Mine: I am a powerful and effective coach that’s changing the world. I say this nearly every day, then I create the actions that support this belief. Call your friends and family members and tell them what you’ve been doing. Tell them “I’ve been enrolling you into this story that I am not good enough and that stops today!”I want you to only speak to my bigness.

Take action.

The 5-second rule by Mel Robbins. 5,4,3,2,1 is designed for you to take action. Your brain literally has 5 seconds before it comes up with a reason or a concern that you should not call that person or send that email. You only have 5 seconds until you talk yourself out of walking up to that potential client or that man or woman of your dreams. 5,4,3,2,1 and take action.

Coaching Tip to Keep in Mind

Motivation and inspiration are temporary fixes. 5,4,3,2,1 take action. You are never gonna want to do it. 5,4,3,2,1 take action. Change happens when you put your courage on display daily. 5,4,3,2,1 have the courage and take action!
