For a recruiter, Linkedin is our bible. I'm sure you've never thought of job hunting as a religious experience, but when it comes to employment--holy water, a rosary and Linkedin is a must! It's our first line of defense when we're looking for someone qualified to fill an open or new postion. It's in those profiles that we get a snapshot of who you are and what you stand for. I myself look at your summary--is this person funny or 100% logical? The reason I look at that is because I want to make sure you will fit in with the company culture and set you up for success.
