You don’t build a social media team across North America without learning a thing or two about the business. As the only social media recruiter for Ogilvy & Mather (2010-2015), I hired everyone from assistant social media strategists to social executives across the Chicago, New York, Atlanta, DC, and LA offices. My job was gathering information about people’s past social media projects in order to match their talents with the right office and the right job. I picked up a lot and managed to build my own brand using Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
I transitioned into employer branding where I created employer branding departments for both Ogilvy & Mather and Horizon Media. I took my knowledge of social and added the brand portion in order to manage brands effectively, efficiently, and energetically.
