Nando – I feel you – a year ago I too had a lump in my breast – I went thru an exam, mammogram, then sonogram and then a biopsy. At that point everyone was preparing me for the worst, talking up some of their male survivor patients, including the “big burly fireman” It turned out to be nothing, but I totally feel you and say a heary “hear hear” Men do need to be aware of these things too. Including checking the two huevos down below – but that is another story.

After having a breast cancer scare and subsequent surgery to remove a huge lump when I was 27, I am so happy that you took care of this sweetie. Happy to hear it was only an infection, but that doesn’t mean that men can’t develop breast cancer.

Yes I agree! we may hide behind masks of fear. I am glad to hear it was an infection, although painful I can imagine. Happy and glad to hear it is Not Breast Cancer. Cuidate Mucho!
