As Fashion Week is in full bloom here in the city, I've been working over time getting in at backstage events "dishing" with celebrities who have been extra nice to this Mexican. It's as if having a Black President has really caused the trickle down effect. Or maybe it's because I remind them all of their gardener?
Whatever the case, I can't seem to wrap my mind around all the fabulous people I keep meeting and take the time to give me scoops on all the upcoming fashion trends.
Yesterday I was pampered in style at the Robert Verdi Luxe Laboratory which is housing the CVS/Pharmacy Reinventing Beauty Lounge this year. I was able to get a hair consultation with Christophe, get camera-ready with Jake Bailey and had a sit down chat with Robert Verdi. Ah, does it get any better than this?
After a relaxing stay at the Luxe Laboratory, I headed over to the Chris Benz show where I got the inside scoop on his latest lipstick collaboration with Lancome and celebrity make up artist, Daniel Martin.
